King For A Day

It was pamper Craig day! First he got his monthly pedicure. I shoulda took a picture with his pants rolled up, feet in the tub. So cute! He always has a great time as the pedicurist TOTALLY pampers him. Sea Salt Scrub, massage....mmmm. Toenails trimmed, fingernails trimmed.  He loves it. Then he got his hair cut. We told him he looked 10 years younger (he did!) and he responded "20 years!"

Phyllis came out with us for the day and the Alzheimer's was behaving, so we ventured over to the bookstore and then decided on an early dinner at Red Robin - YUM!
I noticed that Craig had that 'I have something on my mind' look all day.

When Craig and I arrived home he said "can I talk to you?" This is an indication that Craig is either going into a tirade about something or he is convinced something is about to happen, somebody's saying bad things about him or....well, that's the box of chocolates right there. I never know what I'm gonna get.

He couldn't quite articulate what was on his mind, but got out "somebody said something about ...isn't Larry going to ..." and drifted off. Hard to understand. I reminded him that he had lunch with Larry the other day and there really wasn't anything else, but he was adamant. So I asked him if he'd like to call and talk to Larry. "Yes." Larry was wonderful. He asked Craig if he'd like him to come over to talk. So Larry came over and Craig couldn't describe what he was worried about, but Larry reassured Craig that everything was okay and he wasn't going to jail, or court or anywhere else.

Thank you Larry. You are a true friend.
