| My Hero! |
Craig has been having some really good days lately. By that I mean that he seems to be a little more alert, interactive and communicative. His brain still misfires, he still struggles for his words and the confusion is very much there, but he's been cracking jokes and smiling a lot more.
Last Saturday my brother, his wife and I took him over to Leavenworth for the day. We all had a great time walking, shopping & eating. We even stopped in a little shop to have this picture taken. Craig said he wanted to be John Wayne - accomplished! He would've made a handsome western star!
Kyle was in town for a few days and he and Andy took him out to dinner one night and then on Monday we all went out to the Outback. Tonight I brought him home to have pizza, visit with the pets, sit out on the deck and watch a movie. He really enjoyed the evening.
