Where did he go? It seemed all was going well; Craig was even thinking more clearly than usual and then the other day he woke up confused & telling stories of things that never happened. It was like someone flipped a switch overnight. As if the Alzheimer's finally took over. I found him crying this morning because he's confused and doesn't know what's happening to him and he told me he's afraid he will lose me.
I will never forget when Craig was first diagnosed the Neurologist told us that in some ways it is a kind disease, in that the patient didn't know what was happening to them.
Those words haunt me, as Craig is PAINFULLY aware.
