This week I lost a life long friend - the friend of a lifetime. We had known each other since the 5th grade and I feel lost without her. Even though we lost touch for over 20 years...Facebook reunited us and we picked our friendship right back up again! She had the grace, strength, love and compassion I can only hope to aspire to. She made you feel important and special just by being around her. She battled aggressive breast cancer for four years. We shared our trials and triumphs, listened when we didn't want anyone else to hear. Her laughter and positive attitude were contagious. I love you Elaine. I will always love, admire and respect you.
