Craig has taken to whispering when talking to people who aren't there. (yes, they're back. Darn it.)
His chair in the living room is to the left of mine, so he's always in my peripheral vision while we watch t.v..
I can see his hands move and hear him whispering as he "talks" to "someone". I ask him who he is talking to. At first he denied talking to anyone. After awhile I started asking him why he was whispering. He said because he didn't want me to think he was going crazy.
