It will be nice to have Craig home, but I do worry about him falling, etc. Last week while he was here at home he fell out of nowhere. His knees just buckled and he went down. Thank God I was standing right next to him when it happened. Not that I could catch him - just glad that I witnessed it. He was fine, a little bruised, but fully conscious, etc. I immediately called his doctor, who got him right in. After examining Craig, much discussion, testing and looking over his history, we came to the conclusion that a combination of his drugs side effects could be causing this. We're starting to eliminate some non-essential drugs.
As much as it will be wonderful to have him home, I will be glad to move him where he will be in the care of professionals; where he will be safe and have a lot of social interaction and stimulation, no stairs or other factors that could potentially harm him. I will be glad to be able to sleep soundly again, not worry constantly and know he is being well cared for.
I will let you know when he moves. More than likely it will be after the new year.
Wishing you all a very warm, safe and wonderful Thanksgiving! We are thankful for the blessing of each and every one of you!
God bless you,
Claudia
