Well, it was a plan of good intent anyway. Christmas morning Craig slept in until about 8:30a.m. No problem there, but when he awoke he was confused and disoriented. He was out of sorts and just wanted to "go home". I told him that Andy and Keegan were coming over for Christmas and I asked him if he could wait. He said he could wait for them, but was confused about the concept of Christmas. Andy and Keegan came and we tried to celebrate Christmas, but Craig just didn't get it. He couldn't figure out how to unwrap gifts, retrieve them from inside the package and just stared blankly at most of them. He just wanted to leave and go "home".
My heart broke as I realized this is the last Christmas my husband will get to come home for. After breakfast I took Craig "home" and continued on alone to my family's gathering. What an empty drive that was...
