Things Are Looking Up

When I walked in to see Craig today he actually looked at me (he hasn't been able to really see me with all the sedation) and then he smiled that beautiful smile and said "Where have you been?" I almost started crying. This has been a theme since our first date.  (See Kathy Mattea's video "Where've You Been" on the page to the right - you'll get it.) 
I can't tell you the relief I felt to hear those words - I have my Craig back.....well, you know, as much as I can.... he still has a LONG way to go, but he is getting there. The nurses told me he was calm all weekend. If he continues to be calm and predictable then he can get out of there soon!!!
