"Whatever you want"

"Whatever you want". That sentence used to drive me CRAZY. To me, Craig was saying, "I don't want to make the decision (or I can't) so you do it". I heard it so often that I never wanted to hear it again.

Tonight I asked Craig, "what kind of music would you like to listen to?" His response was:
"Oh, whatever you want". 
Tears of joy welled up in my eyes. I never thought I would want to hear it again, but tonight it was music to my ears. 

I am PRAISING THE LORD. Craig has miraculously not only calmed down, but he is happy, responsive and very talkative again! His words don't make much sense mostly, but he is Craig again. He was teasing his caregivers tonight and telling me stories, saying please and thank you and looking me straight in the eye he said, "I love you. I really, really love you!"

If you ever wanted to visit Craig - do it now. From where he was, to today is a miracle.
